What we're building
European enterprises need AI tools that respect their data. DeepMask runs entirely on German infrastructure, giving teams access to 30+ AI models — from GPT to Claude to Gemini — with full GDPR compliance. Our customers include law firms, engineering teams, and financial institutions who trust us with sensitive work.
As we expand, we need careful testing to ensure the platform works reliably across browsers, devices, and the many AI integrations we support.
What you'll work on
Manual testing across the platform — chat functionality, file uploads, model switching, team management, and new features before they launch
Bug reporting — document issues clearly with reproduction steps in our issue tracker
Regression testing — verify that fixes work and haven't introduced new problems
Cross-browser testing — catch inconsistencies across Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and edge cases on mobile
Test documentation — help maintain checklists and test plans that the engineering team relies on
Exploratory testing — try to break new features before customers do
Who you are
Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's program in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
Detail-oriented and methodical — you notice when something doesn't look right
Basic understanding of how web applications work (HTTP, APIs, browser behavior)
Comfortable with tools like Jira, Notion, or similar issue trackers
Good written English; German is helpful but not required
Nice to have:
Some exposure to testing tools (Postman, browser DevTools)
Experience writing bug reports or test cases, even from coursework or personal projects
You've used AI tools like ChatGPT or Claude and understand their quirks
How we work
We meet in the Munich office 2–3 days per week. The rest of the time, you work remotely around your university schedule. You'll work closely with our engineering team — sitting in on standups, seeing features before they go live, and getting context on why things work the way they do.
This isn't a coffee-run internship. You'll ship real work that affects real customers.
Our process
A 30-minute conversation about your background and interest in testing, a short practical exercise (review a feature and write test cases or find bugs), and a decision within a week.
